Governor Kivutha Kibwana seeks advisory over the BBI bill

H.E Kibwana Moves to The Supreme court. Kibwana’s move in Court is aimed to getting some advice opinion over the BBI proposals. The bill proposes some of the changes and Amendments in the Kenyan Constitution

Government officials

In his report Governor Kibwana is also seeking to understand if Government officials are also allowed to take part in the matter. This comes out after claims arose that the BBI committee is pushing Chiefs to get Signatures from the villages. The government ministers who are not supposed to take part in political matters have also been showing interest in the BBI political move.

Government Funding

The Governor also seeks to understand if it is proper for the BBI amendments bill on the constitution to receive funding from the government.
