President William Ruto Vows to Continue with affordable Housing Projects

The affordable housing projects is set to continue despite the court order. The President of the Republic of Kenya Dr. William Ruto on Friday 26th January 2023 vowed to continue hence defying the court orders.

The President Mr. Ruto while in Kiutine, Meru county emphasized that he will proceed collecting money through the Housing Levy program since he has public and God’s support. He added that the project has created thousands of jobs to the jobless citizens.

Recently, the court of appeal held the high court decision to suspend the Housing Levy citing that it was introduced without a legal framework. The court explained that the levy was targeting a section of Kenyans.
