KDF Helicopter Crash Today, Kills Five in West Pokot

18th April 2024: A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) helicopter has crashed and caught fire in the Sindar area, West Pokot.

Reports indicate that their occupants among them, five are dead.

“KDF Chief General Francis Ogolla involved in chopper crash at Kaben Cheptulel on the West Pokot – Elgeyo Marakwet border; nine people reported to be on board”.
