Zimbabwe Presidential Election Results 2023 ZEC declares Mnangagwa the winner

Zimbabwe Presidential Election Results 2023 have been declared by Zimbabwe Electoral Commission announcing President Emmerson Mnangagwa as the winner.
Emmerson Mnangagwa, who was the serving president, has been re-elected to lead the nation for the second and last term.
According to the Zimbabwe Elections Commission, President Emmerson Mnangagwa beat his challenger Nelson Chamisa, who is also the opposition leader, by 52.6 percent of votes as compared to challenger’s 44 percent.
“Mnangagwa Emmerson Dambudzo of ZANU-PF party is declared duly elected president of the Republic of Zimbabwe,” ZEC chairwoman Justice Chigumba told journalists.
After the announcement of the winner, opposition has, however, rejected results.
“We can not accept the results,” Chamisa’s Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) Spokesperson Mkwananzi told AFP news agency.
