PROSAK and PSIA Warn of 20K Job loss after 9 Licenses Revoked
Protective and Safety Association of Kenya – PROSAK and Protective Security Industry Association – PSIA has issued a joint statement citing the 9 licences revoked risk the loss of 20,000 Jobs to the Kenya private security officers.
The nine companies whose licences were revoked are;
- Victory Protective Services Africa Limited.
- Victory Consultants Limited.
- Bedrock Security Services Limited.
- Bedrock Security Alarms Systems and Product Limited.
- Senaca East Africa Limited.
- Hipora Security Solutions Limited.
- Salama Fikira International (Kenya) Limited.
- Superb Marketing Solutions Limited.
On Friday, the listed companies were hit by a shock after a gazette notice by PSRA CEO Fazul.
The gazette notice dated 5th January 2024 stated that the blacklisted companies had breached 4 regulations as guided by the Private Security Regulations Act No. 13 of 2016. This led to the blacklisting of the companies.
