Raila, Kalonzo Security withdrawn ahead of Maandamano Wednesday

The government of Kenya has withdrawn offered security to the former prime minister Raila Amolo Odinga and Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka ahead of Azimio Wednesday demos.

The government has recently been involved in a one on one disagreement with Azimio leaders.

The government, through Kenya Kwanza, affiliated politicians and government officials, has called out Raila Odinga to stop the planned Maandamano for Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th, and Friday 21st.

The Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration Kithure Kindiki announced that the government has banned all demos in the country after they turned destructive.

New development has pointed out that the government has also ordered all security personnel serving at the Azimio la Umoja leaders to transfer and report back to the nearest station in their respective region.

Currently, Raila, Kalonzo Security remains withdrawn.
