Televangelist Ezekiel Odero Arrested
New Life Church worshipers have today woken up to bombshell after learning that Evangelist Ezekiel Odero is arrested.
Pastor Ezekiel Odero was arrested early on 27th April 2023. He is the founder of New life prayer center Muvueni, Kilifi County.
Why was Evangelist Ezekiel Odero arrested today?
According to the sources, Ezekiel Odero is accused of working as a henchman to Pastor Paul Mackenzie.
The Coastal Region Commissioner has linked Pastor Ezekiel to some deaths that have occurred in his premises as well as some records in the morgue.
“We have arrested Pastor Odero of the New Prayer Centre church in Mavueni, Kilifi on allegations of deaths that have been happening on his premises and reported in various morgues and institutions,” says Onyancha.
Pastor Odero is currently held at Coastal police headquarters, where he is expected to clear that airwaves and undergo further questioning.
Has the New Life Church in Kilifi been closed?
The authorities have also shut down the church. Nobody has been left in the New Life prayer centre to pave the way for further investigation.
“We have closed down the prayer center moving forward. Whoever is in there has been cleared out. We will be giving you updates as we progress with investigations.”
