HELB partners with M-pesa to disburse Loans through Mobile Wallet

Naivasha 27th April 2023, Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) partners with Safaricom M-Pesa to carry out HELB loan disbursement 2023.

Naivasha 27th April 2023, The Higher Education Loans Board, in partnership with Safaricom, has officially launched the HELB Mobile wallet payment solution for students in Higher Education Institutions to access and utilise their HELB upkeep loan. The launch took place in Naivasha during the 2023 HELB Universities consultative forum.

“It is official! HELB has partnered with Safaricom MPesa to disburse student loans via MPesa HELB wallet.”

Announcement: HELB’s biennial Universities Consultative Forum is on today, 27th April, and tomorrow, 28th April 2023.

The theme – “Sustaining Quality University Education amidst Sector Reforms and Funding Constraints.”
