12 Killed in Nairobi-Mombasa Highway Accident today
12 people have been confirmed dead after being involved in an accident along Nairobi Mombasa Highway Ikanga Area in Taita Taveta County today.
The accident occurred at around 4.20pm. According to the information shared by Voi OCPD, Mr. Bernstein Sheri, 12 lives were lost on the spot with 3 casualties nursing injuries.
The Accident in Ikanga Area in Taita Taveta County along Nairobi-Mombasa Highway occurred after a matatu collided with a truck.
The Matatu that was involved in the Nairobi Mombasa Highway accident belongs to Chania Genesis Sacco. It was heading to Mombasa from Nairobi while the cargo truck was driven in the opposite direction.

Casualties have been taken to Moi Referral Hospital as authorities dive into the matter, launching investigations to uncover the cause of the accident.
