Mama Pima Oil Dispenser Unveiled, Kuria makes Cooking affordable
Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has now made life even cheaper for hustlers by unveiling Mama Pima Oil Dispenser.
The “Mama Pima” Dispenser will offer affordable cooking oil for as low as 10 shillings to cook a day.
“I have this launched the Mama pima, oil dispenser meant for hustlers in this country. Our people can now buy cooking oil at very affordable rates, from as low as 10 shillings to cook for a day.” Says Cs.
He said Kenya imports edible oils to a tune of more than 100 billion per year, giving a directive that it must stop. Together with governors from counties that can grow oil, the nation has embarked on empowering farmers to plant palm oil.
Apart from empowering farmers, the government has also decided to recognize the local manufacturers.
He has also instructed the Kenya National trading corporation to make sure all the dispensing machines and containers are manufactured locally by our jua kali artisans.
According to the Cabinet Secretary advice, he urged women and youth groups to apply for group hustler fund and be able to purchase these Mama Pima dispenser machines and set up businesses in their areas.
