A noun is a Naming word.
List of different types of Nouns
1. ABSTRACT NOUNS
Abstract Nouns have no physical form. They cannot be seen or touched but mostly include ideas or feelings.
Examples of Abstract Nouns are-
- Love
- Honesty
- Joy
- Peace
- Patience
- Kindness
- Faithfulness
- Jealousy
2. Common Nouns
Common Nouns refers to Objects, people or things whose specific names are not mentioned.

3. Collective Nouns
collective Nouns are names that show a group of people, animals or things.
Examples of Collective Nouns include:
- A swam of bees.

4. Proper Nouns
proper Nouns show specific name of a person, place or thing.
Examples of proper nouns:

- Kelly
