Tumechoka Initiative: Raila Odinga Launches Digital Signature Initiative

Azimio la Umoja Presidential Candidate and party leader Raila Odinga has launched a digital signature collection Initiative dubbed ‘Tumechoka Initiative’.

Tumechoka Initiative is a digital platform that is set to help the opposition party collect 15 million signatures to place a vote of no confidence in Kenya Kwanza leadership.

Kenya Kwanza is the ruling political Alliance headed by H.E President William Samoei Ruto and D.P Rigathi Gachagua. The opposition comes after the Kenya Kwanza Finance Bill was passed and signed into law. The Finance Act 2023 has, however, been challenged in court by Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah and remains domand awaiting court hearing.

Azimio la Umoja and Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah claim the Finance Act 2023 is a big burden to Kenyans due to over taxing. Despite having be challenged in Court, Raila Odinga has vowed not to take a back seat watching how Kenyans are oppressed.

Raila Odinga has promised to use the streets’ way of communication popular ‘Maandamano’ until President William Ruto obeys the call.

To submit your signature on tumechoka initiative, one requires to submit a few national documents for signature verification. These are National Identification Number and phone number.

Raila Odinga has already confirmed his submission of the signature together with his deputy Martha Karua.
