KNEC 2021/2022 registered cumulatively 1,225,507 candidates. This one of the highest number ever had in the National examinations.

According to Dr David Njeng’ere the C.E.O KNEC there are 28,316 KCPE Examination centres in 2021, compared to 2020 KCPE centres 28,467 that registered 1,191,752 Candidates.

“The Kenya National Examinations Council registered a total of 1,225,507 candidates in 28,316 KCPE examination centers for the 2021 examination year compared to 1,191,752 candidates in 28,467 centers in 2020.”
