One person has lost life while four are seriously injured after being involved in a head-on coalition accident along Nakuru Eldoret highway.
The accident occurred on Saturday’s night at the twin area of Kuresoi South, a place that has been marked as a black spot on the fact based on the recently witnessed accidents.
According to the witness’ statement, the accident along Nakuru Eldoret highway that has claimed one life today occurred between a lorry and a trailer.
From the statement, the accident occurred when the truck driver lost control due to ongoing heavy rains that have caused poor visibility.
After the truck driver lost control while descenting the hill, he hit into the oncoming lorry on the opposite side.
I was one of the people who witnessed the accident, and I managed to help some people, several of whom had sustained injuries and fractures.
We don’t know what needs to be done here because accidents here have been on the rise, and we appeal to drivers to drive slowly when descending this hill.

The injured were thereafter taken to the nearest hospitals that is in Molo and Nakuru. The body of the deceased was taken to Molo mortuary.
Upon arrival of the police, the broken down vehicles were cleared hence revival of normalcy at the scene.
Motorists are called upon to be careful while on the roads to avoid such like accidents from occurring.
