Who is Pastor Ezekiel Odero?
Pastor Ezekiel Odero is a Kenyan televangelist. He is the founder of New Life International Prayer Centre and Church, whose headquarters is based in Kilifi County.
Pastor Ezekiel Odero and Church was put under question mark after claims that he was an accomplice of the rogue pastor Paul Mackenzi.
Pastor Ezekiel Odero has been summoned by the Senate to appear before in on Friday, 13th October 2023, at 10 am.
The Senate Committee commissioned to probe the circumstances revolving around the controversy behind the Good News International lead by Pastor Paul Mackenzie.
The Pastor Paul Mackenzie’s Church Good News International is in question for allegedly causing deaths of more than 400 followers. The belivers are believed to have starved to death to meet their creator.
Take note that should you fail to attend before the committee on the date and time specified in this Summons or to produce the documentation required by the Committee may impose upon you a fine not exceeding Ksh.500,000 or may order for your arrest pursuant to sections 19(1) and 19(3) respectively of the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Act. 2017,
You may also be guilty of an offence in terms of section 27(1 )(a) (i) and 27(1)(c)(ii) respectively, of the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Act. 2017 for which you shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand shillings or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
