KUCCPS Application for 13000 Teaching Opportunities

KUCCPS – Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service reopened its online portal for application on 15th July 2023.
The reopening of KUCCPS portal is to allow application for placement to diploma teachers training courses.
Speaking in Kangaru in Embu, CS Machogu announced the application to fill the 13.439 slots available in DPTE – Diploma in Primary Teachers Education and DECTE-Diploma in Early Childhood Teachers Education programmes across the country.
The requirement is set for one to have scored a minimum grade of c Plain in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination.
In accordance to the recently submitted information quoted fro the Cabinet Secretary himself, their will be no any additional subject requirement for entry into teaching.
"For the second year, the placement of trainees to the 32 public teacher training colleges will be handled by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), which has opened its online portal for the application," he noted.
How to Apply, KUCCPS application deadline 2023
1. Log in to the Students Portal
Interested applicants are required to log in at students.kuccps.net
Log in using the KCSE index number, KCSE year and password.
2. Click on (TTC) programmes tab
Upon visiting the placement portal, click on the Teacher Training Colleges (TTC) programmes tab.
3. Select between DPTE or DECTE
Select between DPTE or DECTE application. A list of 32 certified training colleges will appear indicating the programme code and cost for the first year.
3. Apply
Only the code is needed for the application.
Once done click “Apply Now.”
