KPLC – Planned Black out as Kenyan Power Network Maintenance process continues

KPLC – Kenya Power and Lighting Company released list on areas that will be affected by scheduled power interruptions to carry out network maintenance today 02.02.2022

The power interruptions will not exempt any homestead including businesses. Most importantly businesses that rely more on electricity like Barber shops, salons, cyber and Shops with CC Tv cameras will suffer a major blow.

However the Company has promised to try and reduce the time at which switches will be down but encouraged those with other reliable sources of Power to make use of them. These are Power generators and Solars.

Areas that will experience the blackouts include-:

1. Coast Region

2. Nairobi Region

3. Kajiado County

4. Western Region

5. Southern- Nyanza

6. Mt. Kenya Region

7. Parts of Embu County
