Four Women Dead, 13 Injured in Kericho Green Stadium In a Stampede hours to Mashuhaa celebrations
Four women have lost their lives and 13 injured in a stamped outside the Kericho Green Stadium few hours to the Mashujaa celebrations.
The police say the for died while receiving medication at the county referral hospital. The stampede was caused by a lady who was cooking tea at the scene accidentally poured tea on fire hence causing panic amongst the thousands that were finding their way into the Kericho Green Stadium at around 3 am.
Several people who wanted to gain entry into the stadium were injured and rushed to Kericho County Referral Hospital on board station motor vehicles and County Government Ambulance.
At the station, four unknown females have been confirmed dead.
