Why Azimio La Umoja Has Increased the number of days to hold demonstrations against the ruling Kenya Kwanza

Azimio La Umoja coalition has increased the number of days to hold protests in Kenya to 3. The days that will be affected are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week.

The protests dubbed as ‘Maandamano Tumechoka’ is aimed to push to ruling government listen to the cries of local citizens. Through the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance press release, it is due to public demand that the change of calendar has been made.

Azimio Reviews Third Wave of peaceful Protest Calender

“Further to the communication issued yesterday on 3rd wave of peaceful protest scheduled to start on Wednesday next week, the following overwhelming requests from all sectors of the Kenyan Public for the need to intensify these demonstrations, the coalition hereby wishes to announce a revision of the calendar.

Going forward, the peaceful protests will now be held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday next week, in line with requests from the public to include three days of activity.” Reads Azimio statement.
