NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 6 – Former President Uhuru Kenyatta Protests as DRC Delegation Walks out of peace talks over delayed allowances
The Congolese Delegation attending the East African Community walked out of the meeting claiming lack of transparency.
The individuals receive different amounts while others don’t receive any coin at all after reimbursement.
The EAC facilitator of peace talks former president Uhuru Kenyatta acknowledged that injustice had been done. He further said he will only finalise the talks once the Congolese needs have been settled.

“We cannot be here talking about peace with people who have come from very far walking long distances but their needs have not been met.
Our colleagues who were playing a key role in planning for this meeting, we know we have enough money since I myself was part of those who were looking for that money and that money is not theirs.
Its to help bring peace in Congo. I don’t have any problem to tell the world not to give you money again if they cannot plan for meetings and help is a more reasonable way.”
