The Teachers Service Commission is a Constitutional Commission established under article 237 of the Constitution of Kenya.
Following its mandate, the Commission has invited applications from suitably qualified teachers for the posts announced.

On 10th January the Commission has advertised for recruitment and employment of lectures in teacher training colleges and national trainers. The commission which tries to ensure 100% fairness during the interviewing of interested candidates has also encouraged all people with disabilities to try their luck.
How to Apply
All Interested candidates, who meet the requirements & qualifications, are advised to submit their applications online through the Teachers Service Commission Website – www.tsc.go.ke under ‘Careers’ or teachers online’
When To Apply
The application process is already in progress where all Interested candidates are bound into a time limit not later than 25th January, 2022.
NATIONAL TRAINERS, CENTER FOR MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION IN AFRICA (CEMASTEA)
REQUIREMENTS FOR DEPLOYMENT TO CEMASTEA
For one to qualify for deployment, a teacher must is supposed to meet certain requirements before being considered as per the Employers instruction.
- Be at a minimum grade of C4, T-Scale 9, Senior Master IV.
- Be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Science) or its equivalent; – iii. Have been a County Trainer-CEMASTEA for at least three years;
- Have demonstrated professionalism and good performance;
- Have demonstrated proficiency in computer literacy and ICT integration in teaching;
- Have participated in the performance appraisal process.
Master’s and Degree holders in a relevant area have also been encouraged to attach those documents as an added advantage.
Documents to be uploaded
The required documents to be uploaded onto the portal since the commission does not accept hard copies. Here is a full list of documents to be uploaded.
- Letter of appointment to the current grade. Highest Academic Qualification.
- Letter of appointment as CEMASTEA County Trainer.
- Certificate in Computer applications.
- Certificate/s of Participation in the use of ICT integration in Education.
SENIOR LECTURER IV (TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGES)- 130 POSTS
To qualify for deployment, a teacher must: –
- Be at a minimum grade of C4, T-Scale 9, Senior Master IV.
- Be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or its equivalent.
- Have participated in the performance appraisal process.
Other mandatory documents required are aLetter of appointment to the current grade and a highest Academic Qualification.
