Revealed Why TSC Recruitment posts teachers outside their home counties
Teachers Service Commission – TSC is an independent organisation that is mandated to recruit and oversee Teachers in the country Kenya.
In the previous years TSC hit the Teachers hairless heads after induction of a rule that law that govern the recruitment, replacement and employment of Teachers in the country.
Delocalization being one of the strategies sounded as a heavy burden to the Teachers. This move was to have teachers teach in schools away from their own counties as well as places of birth.
Today the Teachers Boss has come loud explaining why Teachers have to be employed outside their home counties. One of the major reason according to the official statement is to promote cohesion and integration in the country.
“We are promoting cohesion and integration by newly recruiting teachers outside their home counties to invite those from diverse backgrounds to integrate, relate and coexist.” Ms. Julie Ogoye,
Julie Ogoye the Deputy Director TSC urged all Teachers to embrace delocalization since it will help in developing learners across the country.
Teachers Service Commission boss Nancy Macharia had earlier own absorbed all the shocks after headteachers kicked back to her claiming this move was to demoralise Teachers.
All this flowered at NCIC_Kenya during the second day of Amani Clubs induction exercise in Machakos County. The Commission aims at facilitating a vibrant generation of peace-loving students across all schools in the country.
