“Remove Mt Kenya people from CRB” – Ndindi Nyoro to President Kenyatta
The Member of Parliament from Kiharu Constituency Hon Ndindi Nyoro has today send 2 bitter messages to the president of the Republic of Kenya H.E Uhuru Kenyatta. The MP lamented how President Kenyatta can use his powers in betterment of lives of Mt Kenya residents.
1. Remove Mt Kenya people from the CRB.
Speaking on the platform as the Kenya Kwanza Alliance took their campaign to Mt Kenya, Nyoro used the opportunity claiming the president knows the owner of CRB and can talk to the to clear all Mt Kenya residents from CRB listing.
CRB – Credit Reference Board helps lenders to identify potential customers who pay back their loans within the required time. Many Kenyans have been listed by the organisation after failing to pay as low as 20 shillings on Fuliza, Mpesa and Okoa Jahazi.
2. Negotiate the milk prices
He also questioned how a farmer from Mt Kenya sweats to benefit the rich. This is after milk is bought by business people at a lower cost and sold at a higher price in Nairobi. This kind of profit benefits the business people only while the farmer still languishes in poverty. This has forced Nyoro to call on the President’s intervention.
