ILLEGAL AK-47 RIFLE RECOVERED IN TIATY
Kenya police has confirmed the recovery of an AK-47 rifle that was illegally owned.
This follows after a multi agency security team carried an intelligence operation in Moruanze Village, Paka Location, Tiaty East Sub-County in Baringo County.
“Yesterday, the multi agency security team conducted a successful intelligence led operation and recovered one illegal AK-47 rifle at Moruanze Village, Paka Location, Tiaty East Sub-CountyBaringo County.” Kenya Police Service Posts on Twitter.
They also thanked local peace elders, leaders, and members of the public for their support. Its their participation that has led to the recovery of firearms.
“We laud the local peace elders, leaders, and the public at large for their continued support, which has so far led to the recovery of several firearms in the ongoing Operation Maliza Uhalifu North Rift.” KPS, thanks the public.
The operation comes following the insecurity recently reported in the county. The operation is dubbed #MalizaUhalifuNorthRift.
