Kiambu County seeks to recruit 23,000 Youths for Kazi Mtaani Jobs

At County level – Government of Kiambu seeks to employ 23k Youths for the Kazi Mtaani Initiative.

Kiambu County director of Housing Hon Michael Mburu affirmed the County will be recruiting Youths after the budget is approved by the Parliament.

The 3 billion budget is aimed to settle the financial needs for phase 3.

During phase 3 the group will have to be ready for a range of tasks. They will be deployed for

  • Maintenance work to the government infrastructure.
  • Sanitation.
  • Environmental conservation.
  • Garbage collection.
  • Painting.

Concerning the Nation wide recruitment and shortlisted candidates news, the initiatives next steps are to follow at the counties.

In Narok County 3200 Youths will benefit from the program. This initiative is to help keep Youths occupied and open doors for Employment in the country.

It should be noted that the Youth Fund beneficiaries will not be part of it.

President Uhuru Kenyatta together with his government officials suggested Kazi Mtaani to help create employment opportunities in the country. The employees in phase 3 will also receive their payments via M-Pesa mobile money transfer pee week.

The totals will be calculated on daily accumulated funds of 450 to 500 per day.
