Deputy President William Ruto the presidential flag bearer confirms the Rally planned for 19th June 2022 will happen as scheduled.
This comes after a contradiction from Embakasi East Member of Parliament Hon. Babu Owino stating to have cancelled the rally.
“We have decided to cancel TOMORROW’S RALLY Scheduled at JACARANDA GROUNDS.Watu waende shughuli zao ama wakae nyumbani.”
Through his post on his official twitter account, H.E William Ruto wished all his supporters a happy Sunday. He added by welcoming them to Jacaranda Grounds after church.
“The kenya kwanza fraternity and the entire hustler nation a blessed Sunday na tukutane Jacaranda after church.”
From the photos circulating across social media, it has come to attention that police officers have been deployed on the grounds. It is not yet clear if they are to stop the Kenya Kwanza planned rally or to ensure its security.
Blogger Dennis Itumbi has also broke his silence over the issue. He has share some evident receipts showing there interest to use the grounds.
The receipt is also a clear indication that Kenya Kwanza was approved to have paid to use Jacaranda Grounds.
