Dr Mukhisa Kituyi Biography
Mukhisa Kituyi is a politician from Naitiri. He served as Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, UNCTAD. Kitui was a member of UN from September 2013-February 2021 when he stepped down.
Dr Mukhisa kitui was born in Bungoma County year 1956. He is currently 66 years. He has a wife with children: Ivar Makari Kituyi, Sitati Kituyi, Masalule Kituyi
His presidential bid
One of the major reason stepping down from his international job was to contest for presidency in Kenya. During his home coming at Mbakalo grounds, Kituyi cleared the air stating how big his job was. He also explained his only remaining job he can seek for in the country is to be the president.
Recently, Hon Mukhisa Kituyi joined the Azimio la Umoja Coalition. This is clearly indicating, he has stepped back from presidential bid to support Hon Raila Odinga.
