Dp Gachagua Says No Roads In areas opposing the 2023 Finance Bill Will be constructed

Geoffrey Rigathi Gachagua is the Deputy President of The republic of Kenya serving under the Kenya Kwanza, UDA government. Today Rigathi Gachagua passed a a warning to Members of Parliament opposing the suggested 2023 Finance Bill.

According to his statement, Gachagua expressed his disappointment, saying that all MPs who oppose the finance bill from being implemented as the Law shall see no more road construction in their areas “Constituencies.”

“Some of you leaders are lying to Kenyans, but know that if your MP is opposed to the Finance Bill, they should not ask for roads,” Dp says.

He said this during a Thanksgiving service at Leshuta, Narok County.

The Finance Bill 2023 has experienced opposition from many Kenyans in all classes due to the proposed introduction of the housing levy and other taxes that will be a burden to local mwananchi.

Deputy President also retaliated to those refusing to pay tax. He directed this to the Azimio camp, asking them to keep off the government affairs since the 2023 Finance Bill must pass.

He said Kenyans are requesting foe road construction, schools improvement amongst other developments. Because of this reason, everyone is supposed to pay tax to enable the government to deliver.

“I am a person who speaks the truth; people must give taxes to finance our capital and recurrent expenditure… there was a call to recruit more teachers. Who will pay for this? I can’t pay for it with my Ksh1 million salary… that money will be gotten from the citizens. ” Dp spits fire.
