H.E William Ruto lauds the Akûrinû for the one million indigenous tree planting initiative. The event was to mark the 100 years anniversary when the calendar hits 1st January 2021 mark.
This initiative is aimed to reserve the deforestation problem in the country and also achieve the largest percentage of plantations in the country to balance the ecosystem.
“We laud the Akûrinû fraternity for coming up with a one-million-indigenous-trees planting initiative as it marks 100 years’ anniversary next year.
The initiative reverses the problem of deforestation in our country, cuts on environmental pollution, balances our ecosystem and, in the long run, advances the economic empowerment of the community.
Met the Akûrinû leadership; discussed the celebration of 100 years of the faith, Karen, Nairobi County.”
