Rhoda Maweu, the wife to Pastor Paul Mackenzi, has been released by court on a 1 million bond.
Rhoda was arrested and detained for 62 following her connection with the Shakahola Cult deaths.
The Shanzu based Magistrate Court ruled in favour of Rhoda Maweu since the State had not presented enough evidence to justify her continued detention.
In restriction to the ruling, Maweu will be expected to present herself at any given police station when called upon.
Her husband, Pastor Paul Mackenzi, and 16 other co-accused individuals will remain in custody. Their detention will be revisited in the next 30 days after the prosecution asked for more time.
The exhumation process at Shakahola is set to continue.
