Pay BOM Teachers to avoid suicide because of Covid-19 – Dr Boni Khalwale, CBS Speaks

Dr Boni Khalwale has urged the government to cushion all the unemployed. Putting up a tweet on social media he indicated that many teachers out their have suffered alot since the outbreak of Corona Virus. May who are B.O.M teachers and other private school teachers have gone with no pay for atleast 5 month.

Having no solution some ended up committing suicide something that the government could come to its rescue. Economic hardship has also been the biggest reason for teachers suffering in the country Kenya. Bringing out the point clearly he asked the Government to cushion teachers and stop wasting money on Corona Billionares

“We’re given to understand that at least 8 teachers on the school BOM payroll have so far committed suicide because of Covid-19 induced economic hardships. @Prof_magoha must pay them & also cushion teachers of private schools & institutions. Don’t waste money on coronabillionares”
