The family of Kenya’s first Attorney General, Sir Charles Njonjo, has now come out to dismiss reports of his death.

The family, in a statement to newsrooms, termed the rumors as a great exaggeration.

Enjoying his weekend

Njonjo, according to the release, is alive and – matter of factly – enjoying his weekend at home.

“Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated. I am well and enjoying my weekend at home as we celebrate Utamaduni Day,” read the statement.

Rumors of Njonjo’s death first hit the streets of social media on Saturday evening.
