8-year-old boy highest YouTube earner with Ksh.2.6billion
Eight-year-old Ryan Kaji has been named as the highest YouTube earner this year, after he received Ksh. 2.6billion.
According to Forbes, the boy has 22.9 million subscribers.
He reviews toys on YouTube with his mother Loann Kaji, father Shion Kaji and twin sisters Emma and Kate.
His channel is among the top 100 most subscribed in the U.S. with his videos enjoying a massive over 30 billion views.
For instance, his video ‘Huge Eggs Surprise Toys Challenge’ is among the most viewed on the platform with over 1.9 billion hits.
This is the second time he has been named as the highest earning YouTube star.
Among the top three was also another child: Anastasia Radzinskaya from Russia who took home over Ksh. 1.8billion.
According to CNN, the five-year-old has cerebral palsy and appears in videos with her father to document her treatments.
“Born in southern Russia with cerebral palsy, her doctors feared she would never be able to speak,” Forbes reports.
