Siyiape Primary School Pupil Wearing Torn Dress Receives Sponsorship from Mike Sonko

A young school going girl from Siyiape Primary school, Narok County , has met her fate today. After her trending photos on social media wearing torn uniforms in Class, a top Kenyan politician who is well known for generosity has settled her needs.

Mike Mbuvi Sonko today, after promising to help, has fulfilled his promises. He first contacted the Siyiape Primary school administration in regard to the pupil.

“As promised earlier today, I’m happy to report that I contacted the administration of Siyiape Primary School, Narok County, in regards to the pupil who was wearing a torn dress in school” Says Mike Sonko.

This morning, the young girl received a brand new full school uniform with shoes.

“This morning, I cleared her school fees arrears and also managed to have her admitted in boarding at the school since she was struggling to walk everyday for 6 kms from school to her grandmother’s home.” He continues.

According to Mike sonko, all the pocket money needs and shopping has been catered for. The settlement is estimated to last the pupil for the whole year.

In his statement, Mike Sonko thanked Sammy Ondimu and the class teacher Joyce for their quick intervention.

“I’ve also catered for her pocket money and shopping that will last her until end of this year. My special thanks go to Sammy Ondimu for his quick intervention and also teacher Joyce, who was sewing the pupil’s torn uniform.”
