Yes, you can pay off the full amount at any time. For every month you pay it off early, save KSH 300.
CAN I PAY SLOWLY?
Yes, you can pay slowly if you need to. You will pay an extra KSH 300 for every extra month it takes you to pay.
CAN I RETURN THE PHONE?
Yes, you can return your device to the nearest M-KOPA or selected Safaricom Shop at any time. From the point of return you will not be required to make any further payments and your loan balance will be cancelled.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I FAIL TO MAKE THE DAILY PAYMENTS?
Your phone will stop working when you don’t make your daily payment. If you are having trouble making a payment, you can dial *685# and select ‘Okoa Mwangaza’ to use your phone and pay later.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BUY A PHONE?
You simply need your ID and an M-PESA account.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PHONE IS STOLEN?
We encourage you to report the stolen phone to the nearest police station. You will need to complete your loan payment.
DOES THE DAILY RATE INCLUDE DATA AND AIRTIME?
No. You will have to purchase data and/or airtime independently.
