Ps Charles Hinga disappointed after NTV posts a Misleading headline to the public on BUS charges

NTV has faced it rough after posting about BRT buses charges. From their statement BRT buses to charge Sh150 per trip in pilot phase. This means the Passengers will be required to pay a flat rate Transport fee of Ksh 150 for the Bus rapid transport. This is expected to be launched in June along Thika road to decongest the city.

Who Congested Thika Road?

On the issue of Road congestion, Ps Charles Hinga says the people who congest the roads are those with private cars but hey spend more than Sh150 in their private cars to make their journeys.

Is the Gov’ Making Profit?

On the issue of Government business and Profit Hon Charles Hinga Mwaura stated with a harsh note that the Government is making Zero (0) Profit. “There is no profit GoK is making here, but there is a price to pay for the high quality of life we aspire for.”

He says those who are able to pay Sh150 will do so by paying but those in vulnerable groups will be taken care of since matatus will also operate just like private vehicles.
