Professor George Magoha Funeral Service Today

Siaya County, Maseno University at Yala campus, Former Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha laid to rest in Gem.

Professor George Magoha who is well known as the former Education Cabinet Secretary is laid to rest in Gem. He best served in the Jubilee government where he replaced Mr Matiangi and spearheaded the rolling out of the new Education Curriculum.

Professor Magoha passed and is being buried today on 11th February 2023.

During the funeral service, his boss Former president Uhuru Kenyatta attended. He was joined too by the Azimio la Umoja party leader Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga.

Through his speech H.E Uhuru Kenyatta showed Prof Magoha with praised terming him as a community giant who was called by God to heal the education sector. Magoha will be remembered for his hard work to make sure all learners were comfortable at school and no challenge could hinder a learning opportunity.

According to Uhuru Kenyatta, Mr Magoha made sure all candidates sat for their National Exams by making its fee settled by the government.

During Professor Magoha’s Funeral Service, the Current president H.E William Samoei Ruto did not attend with a reason best known by himself and National duties.
