President William Samoei Ruto on Sunday 2nd October 2022 attended a church service in Homabay town.
The Church service was led by Rev. Dr Stephen Mairori. After the service H.E Ruto had a privilege to speak to the congregation.
“Humbled to have been part of the congregation at Africa Inland Church, Homa Bay town led by Rev. Dr Stephen Mairori.”
According to his 4 minutes speech, President Ruto urged leaders from the Luo Nyanza to be ready to work with his government to better the region.
He also cleared doubts of Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio Candidate former prime member Raila Odinga’s respect.
Speaking about the two Ruto said he will make sure they are well and accorded with the required respect.
“Rais wetu Kenyatta and Prime minister Odinga nawaheshimu sana. Hao niwachie mimi nitawapanga.”
On the bible teaching, Ruto left the nation with a quote from 1st Peter 5: 10.
Present Rito’s Bible Verse 1 Peter 5: 10.
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” – 1 Peter 5:10
