TSC to Hire Additional 30,000 Teachers for Junior Secondary 2023

Teachers Service Commission TSC sets recruitment of 30,000 teachers in primary school. This is to help narrow the teacher learners ratio that has worked to a disadvantage of learning process in the country.

This report comes after the Presidential working party on Education reforms urged for employment of 30K teachers for Junior Secondary category.

The task force has however domiciled Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) in primary schools.

“Government will recruit 30,000 teachers by January 2023 to facilitate the transition and bridge the teacher shortage in the nation.” Reads part of the report.
