Mukumu Girls New Principal (Jane Mmbone) announced by Education CS
Breaking News: 15th April 2023, Sacred Heart Girl’s Mukumu High School receives a new principal [Jane Mmbone].
Mukumu Girls High School assigned a new principal after the death tolls to 4. The removal of the current principal, Madam Fridah Ndolo, comes after the outbreak of a mysterious disease that has led to the loss of 4 lives, including 1 teacher. The new principal is Jane Mmbone.
Principal Jane Mmbone has been named by Education CS Machogu as the new school principal. He has, however, dissolved the Board of Management effective immediately.
According to the recent news, Mukumu Girls High School Girls were affected by alleged food poisoning and poor hygiene. The Kenya research organisation KEMRI has launched medical research to disclose the main cause of illness to the learners and teachers.
Mukumu Girls High School is located in the Western region of Kenya. It is among the schools that have been temporarily closed down. Apart from Mukumu Girls,
One, Noonkopir Secondary School in Kajiado has also been recently closed over lesbianism.
Two, Mukuuni High School in Tharaka Nithi has also been shut after the outbreak of a disease suspected to have been caused by food poisoning.
Finally, Khasoko Boys High School in Bumula, Bungoma County, was also closed indefinitely, with only the Form Four class remaining. This follows after the death of a student who was hospital after developing complications.
