Jackson Mandago leads narrowly in Senate race nominations. Uasin Gishu County Boss is eying for the senatorial seat come 2022 August General Elections.

He has taken the lead ahead of the political analyst Mr Kipchumba Karori. He wants to remain in leadership even after serving as a County Governor for two terms.

This pressure comes as tye constitution allows leadership in this post only for two terms amounting to 10 years.

As counting continues, the gap narrows hence proving Karori is not a walk over. Counting is still in progress and the winner will soon be announced.

The winner will contest for the seat on UDA ticket as the others choose either to support or contest as independent candidates.
