Mike Mbuvi Sonko former Nairobi Governor promises to change Mombasa City. Through his press release in the region, Sonko forgives those calling him names.
There has been rumors going round in the political class that he was born in Interior countryside and so not fit to contest in Mombasa.
He was also called names regarding his failure in Nairobi County that led to his impeachment.
To answer questions revolving around his place of birth,
Mike sonko visited the grave yard where his mother was buried symbolizing to be born and raised in Mombasa.
This gives him direct go ahead to contest for any position in the region. Through his speech Sonko asked his late Mother to forgive those rebuking him as one of the Coastal child.
“We’re set and ready to liberate the great people of Mombasa City. They’re the reason why we’re leaders and we must allow them to enjoy fruits of devolution and multi-party democracy.”

Mike Mbuvi Sonko who is vying on the Wiper Democratic Party ticket has laid a lot of promises for the residents. His key promises are to make the city clean through Garbage collection, Ensuring security for people and also to create employment.
“I promise to address the key challenges facing the City of Mombasa like garbage menace, under development, insecurity, water shortage among others in order to improve our living standards and the economic status of Mombasa.”

Mike Sonko Alongside Wiper Democratic party leaders made a series of tours in Mombasa. They used the opportunity to address the members of Mombasa asking for their votes in the oncoming general elections.

Kalonzo Musyoka on Azimio
Kalonzo Musyoka requested members to vote in Raila Amolo Odinga as the president. He said Azimio One Kenya government will have and establish more to add on the free secondary education. He also used this forum to call upon the Azimio Special committee to pack their bags and vacate the mandate. Ge said his experience as a Deputy President gives him a high rank to be the running mate to Raila Odinga.
“The Azimio La Umoja Administration will have more than free secondary education. Vincent Muya’s mother won’t have to look for school fees which I will pay for. He will be a testament to us all as our foremost scientist.”
