Kiambu Governor Makes A U-Turn On Caroline Ndung’u’s “Nomination “
Kiambu Governor Dr. James Nyoro dismissed rumours that she had nominated Caroline Ndung’u as a deputy governor.
Responding to the rumors, Governor Nyoro noted that the new deputy governor would be appointed pending consultations.
“When it comes to the issue of nominating a deputy we shall make an official announcement on the matter. Let those spreading that information about the nomination continue talking,” he said.

Reports had earlier surfaced that Nyoro, who took over as the Kiambu County boss after the impeachment of Ferdinand Waititu, had nominated Caroline Ndung’u as his deputy.
Ms Caroline Waithera Ndung’u has been serving as marketing and corporate director Absa(Barclays ) .
