Kenyans in Uthiru risk spending the new year’s Eve in darkness after Kenya Power remains silent over electricity.
Many people can’t imagine a celebration without lights. As they walk to the respective churches just to welcome the year 2022, many complaints have been on the current Kenya Power system of response to emergencies.
Information gathered indicates electricity in the region went off at around 3.00pm since then not traces of KPLC have been noticed anywhere maybe carrying out some repairs.
The darkness as they so call carry alot. This may open doors to people with ill motives to take advantage on businesses and Christian as they find their way to the churches.
