Kazi Mtaani 2023 to take more weeks awaiting parliamentary approval.

Principal Secretary State Department for Housing and Urban Development Mr Charles Hinga promises Kenyans that there is still light at the end of the tunnel.

He had earlier promised Kazi Mtaani youths stating the supplementary budget tabled to the Parliament. He said that their are procedural issues holding back Kazi Mtaani, but still, everyone should have hope.

After Charles Hinga promised the beginning of Kazi Mtaani 2023 in March, it has however gone contrary to his expectation.

Charles Hinga Mwaura: “To all Kazi Mtaani youths, supplementary budget was tabled in parliament last week, there are a few procedural issues to deal with but there is now light at the end of the tunnel. I can’t tell exactly how long it will take, but +/- 2 weeks so realistically, let’s aim for 1st March”

One used named Kenneth asked what is happening after 3rd March.

Kenneth: What’s happening? You said the aim is for 1st March, today is 3rd. We need communication.

Mr Charles Hinga replied saying that the Parliament is yet to pass the supplementary budget.

Charles Hinga Mwaura: “Parliament is yet to pass the supplementary budget.” replied.
