Junior Secondary CBC classrooms ready as Prof Magoha Reforms Education system
CBC children in grade 5 happy after receiving news. Today the Education Ministry commissioned a complete CBC classroom at Usenge High School in Siaya County.
Competency Based Curriculum is the new form of education. Is is to replace the current 8.4.4 system that was proved not effective in the 21st century.
As learners prepare to join Grade 6 on 25th April 2022, the Ministry of Education will have no time to rest. According to the Education calendar the 2022 academic year ends in December 2022. This will allow learners in grade 6 join grade 7 in Junior Secondary come 2023.
The biggest demand for CBC grade 7 roll out is the classes. Professor George Magoha has assured parents all the requirements are intact.
This is after the Government allocated money for construction of New classes. Private Secondary school investors were given a go ahead to also build for Junior Secondary.

Education CS Prof. George Magoha at Nyamira Girls High, Siaya County says CBC infrastructure is doing well and targets to complete phase one by 7th March. The CS has also issued warning to malpractice during exam period.
