He joined hands with a Coast originated Radio presenter Alex Makideu and worked beyond capacity driving the nation ears to Radio Maisha. The two could take their funs on a stand still with their humour as they incorporated with local Music.

They all had to shift their goals to another popular Radio Station under the K24 Umbrella that is The Home of African Hits Milele FM. Jalang’o takes the Azimio la Umoja train to Lang’ata.

Recently he visited the people of Lang’ata asking for their approval into their Constituency.

Lang’ata Constituency is located in the central region of Kenya in Nairobi County. He won’t have it easy pulling down the current Member of Parliament Hon. Nixon Korir. Hon. Korir is a Member of Parliament under the Jubilee Party. Mr Jalang’o had the ambitions to fight for people needs and rights once elected into Parliament. Once Jalang’o wins the elections he Joins the few Youths who have represented the Yong generation in the government. In Parliament he will meet Hon Mohammed Ali a Member of Parliament Nyali Constituency, a fellow presenter who was popularly known for Jicho Pevu . We also have Hon Hon Charles Njagua Kanyi a popular musician also known as Jaguar. Jaguar is a Starehe Constituency Member of Parliament. He is popularly known for his hit song Kioo and Huu Mwaka.

Jalang’o’s entry into Politics should just be to the benefit of the youth and the kenya creative industry. It should give some weight on how talent matters are addressed in Parliament but not to his own benefit. Recently Eric Omondi a Comedian filled a Petition in Parliament addressing matters affecting and pressing Kenyan music industry.

One of the issues was the increase 80% percentage consumption of Kenyan Music compared to imported music from other countries. But how will he push for this outside the Parliament. Here is where People elected into Parliament can help to make it as a law through the legal process.

Challenge to Mzee Jalang’o

Mzee Jalang’o should receive this as a challenge since he has been in control of music in several radio stations. He had been sported hosting more of Foreign singers compared to local artists. But he should be given an applause for growing some talents in Kenya not failing to mention Otile Brown from coastal region.

Jalang’o received an ODM cap

He should be allowed by the Lang’ata Youths to the Parliament but they should warn him not to be swallowed by the waves of corruption and cartelship to be the most beneficiary.
