Candidates on 19th November 2021 submitted their application and interest in the Kazi Mtaani initiative by to President Uhuru Kenyatta. The process that calls for patience to give the due process its operations has left the applicants hopeless.

This is after the Officials keep their mouth shut and ears closed not to hear any complaints or Comment anything concerning the Kazi Mtaani initiative, Recruitment procedures, Shortlisted candidates and the merit Lists

The process was to help the government employ Kenyans help in Hygiene and sanitation of the countries market centres under the supervision on National Youth services (NYS).

For one to qualify he or she was to be above 18 years and hold a National Identification Card. Not a must but it serves as an added advantage to break the ties was a Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or A Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).

The current ongoing process as revealed is the Verification and Validation process. After which all successful candidates shall be Communicated in due course. Although this has no stipulated time but source disclose , it may take between 1st January to June 2022.

A fully employed Kazi Mtaani worker will pocket averagely 450 Kenyan Shillings paid monthly. They will also be provided with Protective gears that is Gloves, apron, Masks, and Gumboots.

The employees are also urged to register for National Health Insurance Funds (NHIF) and the National Social Security Funds (NSSF).
