Finally!!! Kenya Natinal Examination Council (KNEC) releases the long awaited Grade three (3) assessment tools for the June/July practicals.

The Assessment tools have been uploaded to the KNEC CBA portal where only school heads are allowed to access, download the practical tools, print and administer to the Grade three learners in their respective schools.

"KNEC continues to monitor learner's  progress through formative assessments. As per our circular on the website,  Grade 3 Integrated Learning Assessment (ILA) has been uploaded on the CBA portal.  Let us embrace creativity and cost effectiveness as we administer the assessments.

The grade three Learning area set for practicals is Integrated subjects. The Assessment is aimed to monitor the learners under the new Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). Apart from grade 3, other grades that will be assessed include the grade 4 and grade 5. The scores are to be uploaded to the CBA portal and evidence stored at school level.

3 Easy Steps to download Grade 3 Assessment Practical Tools for the year 2023

To download Grade 3 assessment tools 2023 in PDF format, First visit the CBA KNEC portal via cba dot knec dot ac dot ke. cba.knec.ac.ke. Log in with the school login credentials ie. the User Name and the Password.

In case you forgot the password then you will have to visit the Sub-county director to reset. After successful login, click to open the Grade 3 Portal tab.

After the Grade 3 KNEC portal is open, click on the Download Assessment materials.

Now Download the required assessment material that you need.
