Gor Mahia urges Raila to Postpone Planned Jacaranda Rally for Mashemeji Derby
Nairobi-Kenya, Sunday, 29th January 2023, Nyayo Stadium – Gor Mahia Fc vs AFc Leopards Mashemeji Derby dates collide with Raila Odinga’s mega rally at Jacaranda Grounds Nairobi.
Gor Mahia Fc vs AFc Leopards Match to be played on 29th January 2023 at 3.00 pm inside Nyayo Stadium. The Mashemeji Derby is suspected to be affected by Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga’s scheduled Jacaranda Grounds Rally.
From the recent statement shared by Gor-Mahia football club, the organisation has appealed to the former prime minister to postpone the meeting.
The clubs Secretary General Mr Samuel Ochola has also asked Raila odinga to consider being part of the football match at Nyayo stadium.
“We hereby invite you to grace the occasion. We also appeal to you to consider rescheduling the event or having it in good time. This will enable fans on both teams find their way to the stadium on time for the Darby. ” Reads part of the statement.
